Papers, Extended Abstracts & Posters
All papers, extended abstracts, and posters accepted for the 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics (13 ICG) must be formatted with the templates provided by the conference.

- Posters: Use 36″ x 48″ landscape format. You may use the free PosterPresentations.com template for PPT to Poster, but it is not required. You can downloaded that template here
DEADLINES
- PAPERS: All final papers must be uploaded by August 3 to be included in the proceedings.
- Copyright Form: All papers must have a signed license agreement (PDF) uploaded to the abstract record by August 3.
- PPT: Must be uploaded to your abstract record by September 10.
- POSTER: Must be complete by September 10. Presenters are responsible for printing and bringing posters to the event. Print sources in Montreal are available.

** The official 13 ICG proceedings are peer-reviewed and will be released as an open-source, scientifically indexed digital publication. The proceedings will be released under a Creative Commons license through e3S Web of Conferences with tracked, widely indexed citations for impact scoring.
Essential Info
Registration Required
- All presenters must have full registrations to 13 ICG for their contribution to be included in the program and proceedings.
- All presentations must be in person in Montreal. Remote presentations are not allowed.

Important Dates
August 3, 2026: All final papers must be in the system. Any paper not finalized by this point will not be included in the proceedings or presentation program.
EXTENDED! August 12, 2026: Last day for Early Registration rate. REGISTER NOW.
September 10, 2026: Deadline for PPTs to be uploaded to abstract records AND deadline for poster files.
September 13, 2026 (7:00 am): Registration desk opens for 13 ICG (Level 5, Montreal Convention Centre).
- Short Courses start at 8:00 am (Level 5, Rooms 518a, b and c and 519a and b)
- Welcome Plenary at 6:00 pm (Level 7, Room 710)
- Opening reception 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Exhibit Hall (Level 5, Room 517)
September 14 – 17, 2026: Technical, poster and plenary sessions, social activities, IGS General Assembly, and more.
