Call for Short Courses
The Organizing Committee of the 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics (13 ICG) invites all submissions for Short courses and educational technical sessions at 13 ICG, 13 – 17 September 2026 in Montreal. 13 ICG will bring together more than 1,000 leading civil engineers, researchers, regulators, material manufacturers, and sustainability and climate change experts for days of technical exchange, best practice sharing, and commercial development around geosynthetic materials in Sustainability, Transportation Infrastructure, Climate Change Response, Mining, Energy, Environmental Protection, and more.
This international exchange is held every four years. 13 ICG marks the first time the gathering will be held in Canada.
The educational program of the 13 ICG will include a pre-conference day of short courses (13 September 2026) which can count for professional development hours for attendees and educational sessions during the conference programming.
NOTE: All short course instructors will receive a full registration to the 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics (13 ICG).

13 ICG Short Course Proposal
The 13th International Conference on Geosynthetics (13 ICG) will be held 13 – 17 September 2026 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal (Montreal Convention Centre). The organizers welcome proposals for short courses of 2 – 8 hr in length. All short courses will be presented on September 13, 2026. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL February 28, 2025
